The Solution House Mission is to provide a clean, safe, and sober living environment to homeless Veterans and individuals with addiction, social, or criminal issues, as a result of a substance abuse problem. The Solution House creates and provides program and training situations to enable these individuals to break free of the cycles of addiction, and move from “welfare to work”. All of The Solution House’s programs and inventive business ventures ultimately attempt to transform former addicts into productive, independent, members of society. - Solution House

About Us |
Solution House strives to provide individuals suffering from the disease of addiction a structured, home like atmosphere which enables them to acquire knowledge of their disease as well as the tools necessary to maintain sobriety and grow as an individual.
Solution House allows an individual to surround themselves in a sober, friendly and healthy environment thus allowing them to learn more about the disease of addiction and to associate with those who are struggling with the same type of issues and problems. This allows one to learn how to deal with old destructive patterns of behavior and learn to resolve new issues without using drugs or alcohol.
We strongly believe that an environment like Solution House consistently provide support, coping skills, life skills, and an overall healthy environment. At Solution House you will, if you are willing, learn how to live a "new life" of freedom from addiction, realize your goals and dreams, and reach your own personal potential, all while remaining sober, healthy, and constantly supported.
Program Structure |
Each Solution House Facility is a "self-sustaining entity". Each facility has a management structure and schedules that are in place in order to maintain the safest, cleanest, healthiest, and overall most enjoyable and educational facilities. General rules and regulations will be discussed with you upon admission to one of the Solution House facilities. This structure allows an individual suffering from addiction a sober, structured way of living that they can maintain as their recovery and personal growth continues when they are ready to leave the facility
Outside MeetingsEach house member is required to attend NA, AA, or CA meetings outside the house. Solution House also requires you do a 30 meetings in 30 days. This benefits the new comer and allows them to get acquainted with the area as well as find meetings of interest.

EmploymentSolution Houses are "working" houses. Residents are expected to find, and maintain employment while residing in one of our facilities. We have listed many resources to obtain employment here. If you are on disability or cannot work thats discussed upon admission
CookingLike to cook? Each house cooks in house meals Monday - Thursday. We work together to plan a weekly menu, and residents who are home work together to prepare meals on those days. You are not required to cook but being a team player and helping out makes for a self sustaining house
House Meetings Every week, on designated days, each house has On that designated day there is also a house meeting to discuss progress, concerns, and plan for the week ahead. This is also GI night. (see chores)
Daily ChoresPart of the recovery process includes maintaining structure, at each house each resident will be responsible for a daily chore. On specified days each house has a GI night in which all residents do an "extra" cleaning in addition to their daily chore. This is the same day as the Doctors meeting.
Signing In & OutResidents are required to sign out when they leave the facility with name, and time they leave, as well as sign back in when they return to the facility. This allows the house managers to monitor meetings, work habits and in general keep track of each members whereabouts.
